Setting up Outlook 6

1) Select Tools -> Accounts.

2) Select Add -> Mail to add a new account.

3)Enter your name, as you want it to appear when you send a message. Click Next.

4) Enter the POP account that you created in QmailAdmin and click Next.

5) The POP server (receiving) will be the one associated with the domain name hosted by Parcomètre, while le smtp server (sending) depends on your ISP (Internet Service Provider). In order to avoid spamming, Parcomètre does not offer a public email sending service. Click Next.

6) Enter your account name and the password you added in QmailAdmin. IMPORTANT NOTE : the account name and the POP account you created are identical. Therefore, it must be identical to the email address, and it must contain the "@" and "." caracters. Click Next.

Click Finish and close the window. You can now send yourself a message if you want to make sure everything works properly. If you get an error message from your ISP, read it carefully, it might help you pinpoint the problem. Go through this document to make sure you followed every step correctly. Keep in mind that it takes 24-72 hours before the whole network can adjust to domain name updates. If nothing works properly, send us a message, and join the error message you received from your ISP.
